Emilie Barta is an award-winning television program host who has worked on shows for the NBC affiliate in her hometown of St. Louis, the City of St. Louis, and the Department of Veterans Affairs. In addition to her appearances on Today’s Homeowner with Danny Lipford®, she is currently the host of IMTS-TV, the official television station of the Association for Manufacturing Technology.
Emilie is also an experienced presenter and product demonstrator, representing some of the best known and most innovative products at tradeshows and conventions across the U.S. She has been interviewed by television stations, radio stations, and print publications from around the world concerning the products she represents and was featured on the CBS Evening News with Katie Couric.
As an actress and voiceover artist, she can be seen and heard in over 100 corporate videos, industrial films, and radio and TV commercials. Emilie also appeared in the CBS primetime series Early Edition and the documentary film The World’s Greatest Fair.
Emilie graduated Summa Cum Laude in the Honor College with a BFA from Missouri State University and has a certificate in TV & Radio Broadcasting from Broadcast Center, St. Louis.
When she’s not in front of the camera, the microphone, or on stage, Emilie enjoys traveling, photography, watching home improvement shows, and reading (preferably on a porch swing or a beach). One of her dreams is to purchase a historical home and renovate it to its original splendor.
